\n\u00a1Hola! Somos Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 y Ana Belem. Estaremos en Jap\u00f3n durante 5 meses estudiando en la Universidad de Chiba. Aqu\u00ed les compartiremos un poco de nuestras aventuras, proyectos y mucho m\u00e1s. A diferencia de otros intercambistas de la universidad no estamos viviendo en un dormitorio .<\/span>
\nComo podr\u00e1n ver en las fotos la casa es tradicional pero tiene una distribuci\u00f3n moderna y funcional ___ ___ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ .<\/span><\/span>
\nIn contrast to other exchange students in the university, we are Hello! This is Ana and Mar\u00eda. not living in the dormitories.<\/span><\/span><\/em>
\nToday we completed our first week in Saiwai – cho Danchi. This is a group of apartments of social interest, built before 1970 and were meant for families. As you will see in the pictures below the house is very traditional but still with a modern and functional distribution.<\/span><\/span><\/em>

\nAlgo que nos sorprendio muchisimo fue el piso \/ tapete; tatami. Antiguamente estaban hechos de planta de arroz, pero recientemente los producen con madera y “styrofoam”.<\/span><\/span>
\nOf Things The One That Surprised Us The Most Was The Floor \/ Carpet; <\/span><\/span>Tatami<\/span><\/span><\/strong> . Originally, Tatamis Were Made Of Rice Straws, Recently They Are Manufactured From Wood And Styrofoam.<\/span><\/span><\/em>

\nLas paredes! Son ligeras, removibles y se deslizan. Esto permite crear un espacio privado o abierto.<\/span><\/span>
\nThe walls<\/strong> are another interesting thing here. They are light, sliding and removable. This enables to create a private space or an open one.<\/em>

\nEsta es la sala. Una mesa, 2 cojines, ventanas grandes y nada mas. En Mexico nadie tiene una sala sin sof\u00e1, es completamente diferente. Hemos usado este lugar para trabajar y tomar un t\u00e9 despues de comer.
\nThis is the living room. One table, two cushions, big windows that’s it. In Mexico a\u00a0living room without a sofa, isn’t a living room. Maybe this will be our coffee place \/ homework room.<\/em>

\nLos cuartos son chiquitos y acogedores, dormir en un el fut\u00f3n es algo nuevo. Los closets no tienen muchas divisiones, pero son mas amplios de lo que aparentan.
\nThe bedrooms are very cozy, sleeping on the floor is also new for us. The closets do not have many divisions, yet they are wider than they appear.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\"2E6F837D-43CC-405A-9155-7718B4FBBFEB\"<\/a>\"IMG_1497\"<\/a>\n

La cocina\/comedor es el lugar donde m\u00e1s tiempo pasamos. La cocina tiene s\u00f3lo una parrilla, a esto a sido dificil acostumbrarnos. La mesa es muy amplia y tambien es un espacio de trabajo, o comer segun se necesite.<\/span><\/span>
\nWe spend most\u00a0 of our time in the kitchen. We have only one grill, this has been a difficult part. The table is quite big so it is so useful for eating or working.<\/span><\/span><\/em>

\nIf we had to describe the house in 3 words, I think I’ll say Minimalism, function and tradition<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

El trayecto entre la casa y la escuela es de 2o minutos, pero el camino es agradable de recorrer, es una zona residencial con casas grandes y vegetaci\u00f3n. Pronto recorreremos este camino en bicicleta!!!!
\nCosa curiosa de Jap\u00f3n: las calles y los edificios no tienen nombre, sino n\u00famero.
\nOur path to school is through a very nice area with big houses and green trees. We are still to decide if biking is better than walking.<\/span><\/span><\/em>
